Painting in 1/12th inch scale

Working in theater has allowed me to explore the idea of scale in my work. I have been able to paint backdrops and stage vignettes in 1/12th  and 1/2 inch scale.

I have been honored to work for this museum for the past 5 years seasonally.  During this time I have been working on installing and repairing miniatures of museum quality as well as designing exhibits. It is thoroughly exciting and stimulating in a creative way.
